Holy Spirit
If you have God's Holy Spirit then you have the power to resist sin and be obediant to His commandments.
God's Holy Spirit imbues you with God's characteristics.
Must be obediant and have a humble attitude.
1Jo 3:22
and we receive from him whatever we ask, because we keep his commandments and do what pleases him.
1Jo 3:23
And this is his commandment, that we should believe in the name of his Son Jesus Christ and love one another, just as he has commanded us.

1Jo 5:3
For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments. And his commandments are not burdensome.


God's will has to be done in your life....not your own.. You have to be submissive to Him.
Have to have self control if want to grow in Spirit
Gal 5:16
But I say, walk by the Spirit, and do not gratify the desires of the flesh.
Gal 5:17
For the desires of the flesh are against the Spirit, and the desires of the Spirit are against the flesh; for these are opposed to each other, to prevent you from doing what you would.
Gal 5:18
But if you are led by the Spirit you are not under the law.
Gal 5:19
Now the works of the flesh are plain: fornication, impurity, licentiousness,
Gal 5:20
idolatry, sorcery, enmity, strife, jealousy, anger, selfishness, dissension, party spirit,
Gal 5:21
envy, drunkenness, carousing, and the like. I warn you, as I warned you before, that those who do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.
Gal 5:22
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,
Gal 5:23
gentleness, self-control; against such there is no law.
Gal 5:24
And those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.
Gal 5:25
If we live by the Spirit, let us also walk by the Spirit.
Gal 5:26
Let us have no self-conceit, no provokingof one another, no envy of one another.
